So excited for Thanksgiving! If you haven’t noticed, I comment on here a lot. One reason is because it all looks so good. Secondly, I’m so sick of dorm food that I have to live vicariously through those who can actually cook meals for themselves….If you saw the pots and such in my apartment, you’d understand why I don’t even try at school 😛
Know what you’re making for Thanksgiving yet?
Hmm, definitely mashed potatoes (probably with herbs and garlic, but depends on who’s coming and their preferences and such), some sort of pie, pumpkin mousse, and maybe some other side dish type thing.
Have you decided what you’re doing yet?
Welllll… I suppose I should find out the menu already in place first. But certainly I’ll make a dessert item. If you make a pie then I’ll probably make this pear plum crisp in my new cookbook. I’m thinking sweet potato casserole as well. I LOVE sweet potato casserole… I make a kind with brown sugar and topped with pecans – none of that crazy marshmallow stuff. 😛
